CUBING - Painting the Landscape of your Life

I haven't done this in a while, but right after an excellent church service by reknown preacher Brian Houston of Hillsong church, I made a hectic rush down to Grand Plaza Park Hotel, where Lydia and I were organised a "Cubing" workshop for around 15 people.

What is this "Cubing" thing?

It was a little game of visualisation where people imagine a landscape, and discover how that mental landscape accurately reflects just about everything in their Lives right now - from their self-image, their relationship with others, their dreams and their fears.

I'm always amazed about how much people discover about their lives during a "cubing" session. A man I once "cubed" was stunned when his image clearly reflected his desire to "provide for people". And indeed he does in real life - he works as a business consultant who "provides" people with the right education and know-how to get their businesses moving!

And it should come as no suprise, really. As the saying goes: "As a Man Thinketh, So is He". We begin creating a self image of what we think we are; and as a result, we begin acting the way we imagine ourselves to be. With that, our environment begins to responds to how we behave. We literally create our whole lives in our head!
