David Card has done it again!
Yesterday, the South East Asian Regional VP and GM of Unicity Singapore unveiled Autoship Online, a new internet service for members/distributors to make purchases on the internet and have it delivered right to our door step!
We're all very excited, because what this means is that we can now sit back at home, and make any amount of purchases in the comfort of our living rooms :) And this is especially good for people who dislikes travelling down to get their monthly supplies for their families. For many of us, its what we've been asking to have, and now our dreams have come through :)
A major idea behind the unveiling of the service, as disclosed by David, was the idea of Cocooning.
This was an idea taken from "The Popcorn Report" by marketing futurist Faith Popcorn. According to her, more and more people are taking to staying at home. We've now got home theatre systems, bar fridges, all all those things that make our lives more comfortable that we don't really need to get out of our homes to say, catch a movie, or have a fix of our favorite coffee beverage from StarBucks. Chances are, we can both watch a movie and have our favorite drink at the same time, while sitting in our favorite couch! :)
So now we have products available at the click of the button, so everyone can rejoice! People who are in it for business can now be assured that their customers can get their products easier through the internet; the "hassle of travelling" is no longer an obstacle. And for those of us who just wants to enjoy the products, sit back on your couch and have it delivered to you! ;)
For me, I'm going to have all my favorite skincare, and those oh-so-necessary favorite beverages like the Reishi Coffee and Noni fruit juice (to have when I'm watching my DVD collections) sent right to my door-step. Ah! This is life!
Its great to be working with leaders with foresight. :)
